Teaser pic of my latest mod...

Ok maybe not MUCH of a teaser

But its 90% finished....last thing to do is figure out why I am getting such great gas mileage (avg 99 mpg ) and find a permanent home for the huge computer (as you can see, its current home under the dash lid is not a viable option hahaha )

So anyhow, a DIY is defnitely in the works, but its more words than pics at this point due to my camera dying earlier and charging up just in time for me to finish up the project (damn....)

Sweet mod Gabe!! Some fab work on the dash lid might make that spot viable perhaps? Where else were you thinking of mounting it?

LoL its the info center dude....she was NEVER available for 86-87 sedans...so its just a bit closer to my heart

Sam, I plan to place it behind the center console but the wiring harness must be extended to reach....the computer is RIGHT under the dash lid hahaha, so thats why its popping out so much....but I just wanted to drive her SOOOO bad!!!

@ Stocklegend It's a car computer( they came in the LS models ) It tells you all types of different stuff like current MPG, avg MPG, Trip odometer, service intervals, if the coolant fluid, engine oil, and windshield washer fluid levels are low, time, etc.

It's cool to have, a little handy at times.

Looks good Gabe.

EDIT: Dam I type slow, like I got arthritis.lol

Actually they came on L models as well. I've got one in my 88 L coupe. It's amazing though how cars way back then were so far ahead of there time in technology.

Aw, alright.

It's wayyy ahead of it's time. I'm suprised it still works after all these years. These cars were built solid, man.
