BUT there is a button that lets you change measurements from miles to kilometers. Truly an international gadget.

To which are you referring? The coolant reservoir or the coolant temp?

The reservoir wire is ready, just needs to be hooked up (but it checks out as okay for now so I dont get a CEL ) and the coolant temp simply splices into the wire that goes to the temp gauge on the cluster....it does some kind of monitoring, but it doesnt tell you the temp readings or anything (which would actually be really cool!!).

Maybe I should try grounding out my temp gauge to see if it gives me some kind of warning
I was talking about the res; I wasn't aware it noted on the temp as well. (Probably a good thing I am unaware of it - car has not ran hot.)

Also, I was able to get it to think that engine oil was low, and guess what! It threw me a PGM-FI light (thats a Check Engine Light for the rest of you) and the info center told me "Check Oil Level"!! Nice!!! After grounding it out, the warning and the PGM-FI light went away...yes...this technology is definitely ahead of its time!!
The oil level sensor is in the crankcase (you have to drop the pan to get to it) and the electrical connector exits out thru the oil pump/cooler plate. I would bet that the hole for the connector is there.

BTW, the box mounts under the dash above the glove box. I'm wondering if the mounting holes are there.....

Sadly, the answer on my car is a resounding "no" on both points.

My 87 has a different design dash than you guys and the computer will not fit in the same location as yours (under the dash, above the glovebox), there is just not enough space....hence why it must go behind the console....the DIY will address this.

Also, perhaps MAYBE something might exist on 2.7's for the oil level sensor, but when my 2.5 engine was available, the info center was still but a gleam in Honda's eye....so I'm pretty sure existing knockouts and unused mounting hardware are nonexistent....

Same story for the Auto climate conversion (coming soon ).....you guys have knockouts and stuff available that I do not....oh well...I just have to get creative is all

I wonder if a 2.7 oil pump with the knockout would fit a 2.5?
