the side of the tire should tell you the maximum amount of pressure you want to use in them. check there first.

the correct tire pressure is written on a sticker on the door of the car.

tires should be able to hold more pressure then the car's spec.

I would start with the recommended pressure specified either in the manual or on the door sticker....regardless of what tire size is on the car.

good rule of thumb is go 7 psi below the tires maximum psi

i dont think seeing the tire pressure on the door or manual since its not the stock sized tires.

i would go with 35 to 40 if the tire says max is 44.

tires dont have to have equal pressure because they dont have equal weight on them. i usually do the rear tires 2-3 PSI lower than the front tires. but dont always go 7 lower than the max, i have tires rated at 54 psi, and there is no way im putting 40+ psi in them. because theres less tire doesnt that mean you should have a lower psi rated than stock? or should it just be the same because its lbs of pressure per square inch and the amount of tire shouldnt make a difference since its still holding the same weight?

personally, i would put 35-36 front, 33-34 rear.

I too would go by the manufacturers recommendation... just keep in mind though, tire pressure are adjusted depending on road condition(s) <= this info should also be covered on the manual.

no i didn't misunderstand the question. you misunderstood the answer.

tire psi is written on the door of the car. Tire size doesn't matter. always want to have the pressure at oem spec unless otherwise needed (raising pressure, like for racing or better mpg or less pressure for offroading)
