I hope to God Not, but there are no signs of a BHG. The car never overheats, there is no coolent it the oil, it runs great and it doesn't smoke. i would have never noticed it, but i checked the fluids one day and a saw its green oily goo only in my overflow tank. It is not in my radiator. The radiatior looks orignal so im not taking any chances, im going to replace the whole thing, get a new CLEAN overflow tank w/new hoses and 2 gal. of Honda Blue coolent. If the stuff comes back... im fecked.

Oh ok...doesnt sound so much like oil now, but I'd still be concerned...
My old BMW had head gasket issues that did not result in over heating or steam, BUT oil would flow into the coolant (but NOT vise versa) and we had to flush the whole system really well maybe once every three months....she still ran great though! |

But that stuff does work to stop a head gasket leak even before it starts. On the G2's i have heard that's an issue so it may not be so bad if applied properly and maintained with regular schedualed fluid changes.

Sorry to say this, but your gonna need to replace the radiator. its leaking pretty bad, which it means its not holding the right amount of pressure. I'd get that replaced right away.

Looks like a "normal" radiator leak to me. You'll either have to have the leak repaired or purchase a new radiator.
Tip 1: When removing/installing the radiator cap, put pressure from your other hand on the underside of the filler neck. This will help keep the neck from flexing and prevent a potential leak down the road. Tip 2: When the radiator is repaird/replaced, drain the block and flush out the old coolant. Start with a fresh fill.

Its best to buy a new one. Thats what I did when I pulled the old one out. I kepted smelling collant under the hood and couldn't figure why until I look at the top of the radiator and see gooie stuff on there . After putting the new one on, no coolant smell came out anymore and I didn't have to pour in fluid in the reserve tank anymore. Usually I had to put some in every 2 weeks.

I bought my radiator from this place and I'm happy with it. I still don't have any problems with it:
