I pretty much like everything about my Legend. Power windows, power seat, sun roof, what more can you ask. Hella roomy inside, a lot of trunk space, I just love the design of the car. I think that's why I can't get rid of it. And your right G Wizzle, the front fenders looks amazing.

I like the body lines over the front and rear wheels (the "flares" I guess you'd call them). They remind me of a '60's Corvette Singray. Someone on here also compared them to a Skyline.

My favorite about the looks is the rear fenders, they remind me of a Skyline too.

The thing I like the most is the easy power steering. Its my wife's first car and it spoiled her. She likes it more than the '95 BMW 525i that we just got.

my landlord has a 78 DeVille and a 89 CR-X and the legend seems to be the nearest thing to halfway between the two. (where's that rear swaybar..!) it has none of the flaws of the Euro sedans of the period ($$$ parts), is easy to maintain and logically overdesigned and can absorb suspension upgrades with aplomb.Like the Caddy it has a luxo ride. Like the CR-X it's a Honda...the Volkswagen of the 80s. of course, I always think of different nation's autos in terms of their WW2 aircraft, which pioneered all of the engine tech seen in today's engines such as fuel injection, nitrous and water injection and turbo and mechanical boost. seen thus, the Legend reminds me of the twin-engined reconnaissance and liaison Mitsubishi known to the Allies as the Dinah. it too had an outstanding CD and was hard to intercept due to it's speed.

....it's paid for!

Now I spend my time and money maintaining it, which is WAAAAY less than a new car these days. And, if kept in good shape, it's better than most newer cars on the road today.

In Oklahoma, a car tag cost is based upon original retail value and age. A new $25,000-$35,000 car's tag alone might cost $1,500 the first year. Once it gets to be a 10-year old car, it starts to become reasonable (around $100/yr). My tag has cost only $25/yr for the last 10 years or so.

I like everything

Lets see.

I like my 481,000km,s today same engine same tranny.
I like how it has always got me where I want to go without a tow truck.
I like the interior layout and seats. Mine are cloth I prefer them over leather.
I like the cars lower flatter wider stance, cars seem too tall now.
I like the ride particularly cruising on the highway. Seems like it can go forever. Those 2500km trips just make it run smoother.
I like the smooth way the 5 speed shifts.
You also can't complain about the gas mileage for a V6 - its not bad if you don't stomp on the gas all the time, that really helps today. 8L's / 100km's on the highway. That's close to some 4 cylinder cars.

I know some don't agree but I also like how inexpensive this car has been to run to me personally. Like someone else touched on, I don't look at one or two repairs, I look at the whole year or even lifetime of the car. A couple of CV shafts and an alternator every few years and brakes/oil thing regularly doesn't amount to much in the grand scheme of things.

Nice thread and a good way to pay tribute to a nice car.

I like the flares also.
The low hood lid gives it an almost exotic NSX feel IMO.
The engine note, addictive.
The carefree handling.
The lightness.........
