Steve (89HondaLegend) should see this before too long and chime in. As far as aftermarket, what are you looking for? Engine, suspension, interior/exterior . . . ?

Hi there

First of all what state are you from ?
Steve should be able to chime in if there are aftermarket but i highly doubt there is.
Im from South Australia and for just replacment parts your best bet is to find a good condition part from the wreckers or you could try honda but there prices will be sky high.
Glad to see more aussies getting on the sites

Cheers
Travis

Cheers for the replies, i'm from Perth

I need a few things.

1. new tranny solenoid filters (the sun made mine grow)
2. new engine oil filter
3. new speedo cable (cleaned it once, going to try again)

and just any other parts i may need.

Ahoy there and welcome to the forum.
Parts are getting harder to source however we can still get our hands on most things with a bit of detective work.
Just about all service items i.e. oil filter, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, ignition leads and so on are all available from aftermarket parts stores such as Supercheap, Repco, Autobahn or if you can find an independant auto spares shop and support them as I do

Replacement parts (new) can still be had at Honda but the general rule is that the bigger the parts the more it will cost. Having said that I can tell you they do have limited stock and for some items you might have to chase people from overseas i.e. the Acura crowd here that might still have parts in stock.
Second parts is by far the best way to go where possible. The parts are cheaper and unless it is an item that is known to become faulty (like the main relay) the the chances of picking up another faulty item from a wrecker is slim.

A quick search through the yellow pages indicates these people may be able to help you out:

Best of luck with the car and be sure to post some pictures for us.
