Distributor cap source

I am using a Jacob's Pro Street system with variable voltage/amperage and multiple spark ability for a total burn. I use the OEM coil to a trigger to the Jacob's computer. The OEM coil was bad and was replaced with great improvement. I am running non-resistor plugs ( NGK ) and low resistance Jacob's wires that are needed for the computer to work. I am burning up the distributor cap in 1,000 miles, and need a source for the cap that has brass inserts instead of aluminum. I have also heard of a kit to plate the stock inserts, but do not have a source. When I installed the system, it showed a 2 mpg improvement in the onboard computer. This guy designed and built the variable speed heart pacemaker in my daughter, then went back to cars, sick of the FDA and their bull****, which I deal with every day. He knows his electronics.
Any help would be used. 320,000 miles

I've never seen the inserts, or performance distributors, or even wires that were worth it for the Legend.

I'm running SDS engine management, and I am also using the factory ignition coil, but with Honda wires. The SDS is triggering an MSD box, which is running the factory coil.

If you have a variable volts/amps ignition system, I would suggest trying to run it with regular spark plugs and the Honda wires, just to see if it'll really affect your Jacob's system. Sounds like there are too many amps running through the distributor cap, and Honda ignition systems are designed to be high volt, low amp systems. I only offer this suggestion in the event you can't find the brass inserts, which would be great if you do, let us know if you find them.
