Last night, I think I got everything ready to drive this weekend, since the rain has finally stopped. I loomed the wires underneath the engine and made sure everything cleared. I also have moved the MSD box to the firewall where the vac box used to be. I'm considering covering up the box with the housing from the vac box, but IDK.

In case anyone was wondering, you can get one of those 4-way brass things at Home Depot, Lowe's, any hardware store. It's the easiest way to hook up an oil pressure gauge, and keep your factory sending unit also. Plus, I have an extra port for the turbo oil line now.

OK, new video on the street, with the correct audio!

Hope you don't mind the breaking benjamins track. The best exhaust sound is near the end, about 1:40.

YouTube - The Acura Legend Convertible at Night

I worked on the tuning for about four hours after making the video, and it's even quicker now.

Everything is right on the file when I watch it from my computer. I've tried uploading twice on youtube, and the same thing happens. I don't know how its pulling audio from a different file...

^ Re-posted a different video.

As for now, I'm still waiting on the correct turbine housing. I'm starting to put the skin on the hardtop frame to pass the time. I found the perfect glass to fit the back... from a S2K top! Y'all are gonna flip if I have this hardtop on for NALM. It's REALLY not gonna look like a Legend then.

That video looks great... Can't wait to see it with the turbo installed! Are those the same gauges you had on the pillar that you put in the center?

Yeah, same kind, I still have the pillar ones, just to clarify, total of 4 now. I don't know if anyone noticed the one on the left not moving, it's not hooked up yet, it's for fuel pressure, and I'm waiting on a regulator.

FYI - If anyone ever wants to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, the one made by AEM for the NSX bolts up to the 2.7 fuel rail. To run a gauge, you need an adapter that is essentially one of those banjo fitting bolts with a hole tapped in the end of it for the gauge sender. I found one of these adapters on e-bay with a small gauge attached for $18.

Not much, unless you've done fuel-related mods like larger injectors. Technically, if you increase fuel pressure, you also increase the amount of fuel going through the injector, but that only stands true to a certain point. You can only push so much fluid through an orifice, no matter how much more pressure you apply to it.

Having an adjustable regulator, in my case, will give me the ABILITY to increase fuel pressure if I need to. Since my injectors are so much bigger, every time one fires it causes a slight drop in fuel pressure, which is only replaced by more flow from the pump. Having increased pressure in the rail reduces the drop in pressure, keeping relatively more stable rail pressure, therefore the injectors will fire more evenly.

When it comes to fuel delivery, you want everything to work the same at each cylinder, so you have an even power distribution across all cylinders. Having a gauge and an adjustable regulator are just a couple of things that will help you to have control over this.

I should open a performance engines school.

Bad news guys. Those freaks at himniracing are taking their sweet time with my turbo housing, so I gave them the ultimatum...

I told them to get the housing to me by the 11th, and if it doesn't happen, I'm sending the rest of the turbo back, and getting my money back. If that happens, I'll definitely NOT have a turbo in for NALM. Sorry, but I've done everything I could.

So for now, I'm putting all efforts into getting the removable hardtop completed.

On the bright side of this, we'll get to put an N/A motor on the dyno, with OBX headers, upgraded fuel system, engine management system, and CAI, just to see what a 2.7 litre can do on it's own with proper tuning. It'll also make a good comparison once the turbo is done and dyno'd.
