Oh, I did some modification to the factory power frame for the driver's side. Power racing seat! It only slides fore and back with power though, still manual recline. It's not as sturdy as I want it, though, and I'm fabricatng brackets for the floorboard to work with the slides that came with the seats.
No one has slides that are direct bolt on, sorry. As for the pass. side, the factory rails screwed right on to the seat after drilling 2 holes in the frame, that's it! And it's pretty sturdy, so I don't know if I'll fab. on that side. Depends on if it sits higher than the other seat after I do the driver's side. The driver's sits too high as it is, and the seats are not level with eachother, I don't like that, looks rigged. That's why I'm not just stiffening up the power frame with stronger brackets. PLUS, that power frame weighs a TON. Nearly had a hernia lifting the seat out when I stripped the interior. And how are you supposed to race me from 'down under'. JK. I guess we can do the video comparison thing, or compare 1/4 mile times.

Hit another little snag tonight. Had trouble getting the idle stable. I'm ready to take it out for the first drive, but I wanted to get the idle straight and steady so I'm not killing it every time let it idle. After an hour I figured out that I had a small intake leak from a passage in the TB that I overlooked. I did the quick fix, and just filled that hole with some epoxy, and now I'm waiting for it to dry. I'll reinstall this TB, and hopefully I'll be raising hell, street tuning this thing. Hope "LaVergne's finest" are not out in full force tonight.

Still not driving. Tuning a computer's a bitch when starting from scratch.
Idles is great (for 750cc injectors anyway), revs up quickly and smoothly, but put any load on it and it's choking. Worked on the timing for a while and it got better, then the RPM/Fuel graph and it got better, back and forth forever. I looked over all the other graphs, because I knew there had to be something else. It was running too rich, and I couldn't tune it out. I finally found a graph for startup enrichment, and it was dumping too much fuel in. It was set to keep it rich until 285 degrees, WAY above my op temp. So basically, I get to start tuning the timing and RPM/Fuel again, from scratch. Loads of fun. The new turbo housing is finally on the way, so at least I have that to look forward to.

The reacher usually bolts into the seat on yours, too, right? There is a hole in the body that the bolt will thread into down there, but something still must be done for the latch on the other side. If you lose the power frame, the latch will have to be welded on somewhere. I'll get some pics of my seat tonight. I got the driver's side all done, except for the belt latch. Made an A-pillar gauge pod last night also from an old one from a civic. I trimmed the edges down and it went right in. I'm gonna epoxy it later, and have a guy blend it in with the rest of the pillar.

Here's some pics of that seat installed...
This is basically a nut welded to a small length of pipe. The other side of the front has just a nut welded to the body, but this side has to be raised. ![]() Welded in this angle iron for the back... ![]() And this is the hole for the seatbelt bolt... ![]() I also got this finished up... ![]() And made a little flick. Sorry for the lighting, but at least the video quality is better. The sound does no justice to what it REALLY sounds like... ![]() Maybe next time I should turn the lights on ![]()

Glowshift. They change 7 different colors, pretty sweet. The gauge pod is from an old civic, just had to trim the edges off.

I can't get any tuning done with the rain this weekend, so I got the seats done. Here's a better pic of how I did the seat bracing for the passenger side.
![]() I also got the seatbelt latches in. To do this, I actually used the passenger side latch for the driver's side, and vice versa. The metal parts had to be straightened a bit, but other than that, they are just bolted in right where the old seat bolts used to go. ![]() Other than that, I got a few things organized and cleaned up the car a little. ![]() Hopefully the rain stops this week, cuz I'm ready to drive. ![]()
