No, there are no turbos readily available for these cars. If you're looking for a tuner I'd suggest you sell your Legend and buy an EG or EK Civic. If you plan on keeping the car, read the FAQ... That would've answered your question and saved this thread from being made.

He's already gotten started modifying his car, and now he's asking for help. Don't be that guy. You make the community as a whole look bad, welcoming new members so warmly. What if I think you should sell your car because I don't like your unhelpful attitude? Wait, that makes no sense either.

I received about as warm a welcome when I first signed up, but I like making guys like you upset.

Now on topic:

Turbo isn't the only answer for power. Personally I have an '04 3.5RL and I put a little nitrous on it. It was a great solution, easy to install, and you can be as sensible or as crazy as you want to be. Just be careful because things CAN go wrong with nitrous rather quickly.

Sadly you'll not get too far with your car unless you're willing to spend some money and do a fair amount of research. Since the Legend isn't a tuner favorite, there really isn't much in the way of off-the-shelf parts support for them.

If you have any interest whatsoever in handling, I would look into that next while you consider your options for 'mo powah.'

Good Luck

murderotica, shame on you, lol j/p. I found a website where they make custom turbos:
Forced Air Technologies
check them out. There is no "ready to bolt on" turbo made for our cars. They all have to be custom made.

Clever, but you should consider keeping the insults and comments to PM. Speaking of which, check your inbox.

You might want to consider the potentially harmful effects of nitrous. You are right though--if done correctly, it can be great when you need that extra power.

I think handling is something that a lot of people overlook. Especially here, people seem to jump straight to the "I need more power" line of thought. New suspension setup = the win.

Looks like you got a little chapped. Sorry you can't accept that the new guys should be welcomed and pointed in the right direction. The shun and kick doesn't lend any strength to what we're all trying to do here: Maximize the enjoyment of our cars.

Nitrous is an excellent way to make a little power or break a lot of stuff. It is still a very reasonable addition to the Legend/RL cars since it is simple, and doesn't require any custom work or tuning past getting the initial install right.

We are in a agreement again it seems. Suspension is certainly part of the total package. I've ignored it on a few cars that were just straight-line runners, but nothing really makes the driving experience than a well tuned suspension. Let's face it, on your daily driver, how much time do you really spend at WOT (ok most people, but I'm nuts)?

You keep suggesting this, but it's just a piping and hardware kit. It doesn't account for any tuning (fuel, spark, engine controls) whatsoever. 'Universal' in this case means 'figure it all out yourself.'

Personally I wouldn't suggest the STS kit unless I was certain the person who might run out and buy it was having it professionally installed by a skilled tuner. I've been digging around on information regarding the barriers found on these cars and I must say I'm impressed with anyone who has a workable turbo system with the stock engine management in place.

uhmmm yea .... like my post states "custom" turbo application, assuming that the purchaser would either have the knowledge to, or plan on having someone who does have the knowledge & skills to properly install the sts turbo kit along with all other needed components as a CUSTOM job - which goes right along with what everyone is telling this guy -- that any application will have to be custom.
"Personally I wouldn't suggest the STS kit unless I was certain the person who might run out and buy it was having it professionally installed by a skilled tuner." -- exactly ! yay you got it!

Lol its funny how you guys fight over turbo stuff. You guys need to e-hug and make up. Its best to take it to a Tuner Shop where they can modify the headers, piping for turbo and inner cooler for the turbo setup. The turbo I want is the one Muffo is working on lol.

The universal STS kit isn't very legend friendly no matter how you look at it. I stand by my statement and I don't think you have any basis for such a suggestion. Simply using the word 'custom' doesn't make it obvious to a novice that there is more to the system than buying it and making it fit.

I wasn't trying to make it personal, so getting all butt hurt won't help you. Would it kill you to not simply drop a link into a thread and instead accompany your links with some description or explanation?
