Yea all you need to do is remove the center piece and pull the little clip holding the shift cable to the selector.

Yeah honestly the engine swap is the easy part, it will be the wiring and engine control which will be time consuming. Keep us updated.

That looks precarious.
Hahaha

Good luck with the wiring (worst part by far).

If worst comes to worst and it gets 2 far over my head i may have to take it to a shop. It wont be way to expensive as at that point i will have done most of it.

Iv just been trying to decide on an intercooler and its so much more complicated than i thought

That sounds like a legit plan.

Hmmm, I've always been a huge fan of beefy intercoolers peeking through grilles. What makes it so difficult? Lack of space?

Na space isnt a problem as i will build the bumper and that was my plan was to go big but now im not as sure, I am going to mount it about 2 to 3 inches out from the ac radiator with 4 mounting brackets. i will have to get it custom made because both pipes will come from the same side. but the size and the type can vary so much. i have just read a huge article explaining it all and now im confused

Ahhh yes the fog that hits you after you read a thick car article.

I have a bit of experience with IC's etc for the legend and heaps for other cars. Let me know if you need any advice. I would try and have the pipes going from the opposite sides of the car but there are many intercoolers which do a loop around so the end tank(s) are on one side only.

I will take as much advise as is possible to receive. I am thinking something of this design.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&ih=005

there isnt anywhere that i can get a pipe to the other side.

.....turbo.......supercharger?

a turbo would be nice but there was a thread where they were talking about putting a vortech supercharger,to me that sounds like the way to go no turbo lag no bull****, but neither one of those i can afford,or have time to take care of, so im left to go motor,my local machine shop here in yakima had told me that they could redo my heads for 350$ each, that includes resurfacing for compression and a beautiful porting job, plus the cost of regrinding the cams, and new valves to fill the holes it should be wicked when i find a good set of heads but at the moment im looking for a set of 86-87 2.5 heads, because im not taking apart my perfectly running car until the parts are completed and ready to install
