Thanks for the tip. Just another idea i am thinking about is not using the 2.0 motor now and putting both the intake and exaust manifolds onto the 2.7. I think i can easily remove the top mount intercooler in the process. Then il track down another motor or use my spare one to build with forged internals

you could just use the exhaust side and fit a front mount to use the orignal 2.7 inlet manifold

that could be a bit more of an issue, i'm not a fan of cutting the car up to get a mod in.

Neither am i in most cases. I think the best bet is to use the turbo intake manifold and ditch the factory intercooler it will just mean a bit longer intake pipe. I may even be able to mount the N/A TB on it.

OK when i get around to istalling my ecu. I cant decide what motor to go with. seen as i only want the 2.0l for a short time do u think it would work to just plug all the vacuum lines instead of plating or welding all the parts s if this will work i will have it running in no time and then can consentrate building the 2.7 with all the good parts

Once i get the msd i will bolt the motor in and wire it up, plug the vacuum not used then iltry and get it running N/A. Would any one have stock timing chart for the c20a ot the c20at. I think i will chuck a wrx turbo on it for a while because you can buy them for next to nothing. this shold get me mobile so i can build the new motor
