That would be really helpful then we should know if the manifolds are interchangable

You said you ran a side mount intercooler. Did you run it with the origional intercooler? Do you know if these motors have forged pistons in them? how much boost were you running?

I ran up to 12psi. I ran the side mount going into the original factory one also. I was going to remove the factory one but never got around to it. No forged pistons, this isn't exactly a supra. You can use honda H22 forged pistons, but you would have to match the bore correctly but I think they are almost the same for the 2.7.

Yeh I no about the pistons I will probably order them from the states. Do you think ti would be easy to remove the factory intercooler as this would make for a more free flowing head.

Probably not. But considering if you do remove it you will then have a poorly shaped chamber with a large space before the throttle body I doubt you will gain anything at all. I would only recommend getting rid of the whole thing entirely.

I was more thinking of replacing it with a strait pipe tho this may not be possible as air flows better through a pipe than an intercooler. Were the header measurements enough to compar your manifold to?

I am not really sure what you mean but I think after you have a look at it you will realize that is not possible. What header measurements?

Yes the ports are approximately the same size. The spacing between them is 1 11/16". If someone can confirm that that is the same pattern as the 2.7 then you have a match.

The 2.5 and 2.7 manifolds are the same though right? I will measure the bolt holes later today.
