i would put my money on the legend. its a hard call though, they weigh about the same, i think the maxi is a little lighter depending on options. its got a comparable 3.0.

my coupe would take it for sure, as well as other's,

as for stockers, it would be a close race, driver skill would be a big chooser.

its a little more powerful i would lean more towards the maxi but it would be a close ran non-the-less. dv8 and others, (even maybe my coupe) might still take the 03 maxi.

Assuming equal (good) drivers, I'd say the Maxima. Especially with the later 3.5. Both stock, of course

Not "Legend hating", simply being realistic.

Stock for stock, the Maxima driver would need to be pretty bad in order to loose.

On a side note, how would your M3 fair against the Maxima?

The 3.5 or earlier 3.0?

I feel like I could take a 3.0 all day. The 3.5 would be closer, but I still think I could take one. It seems as if they only trap ~94mph in a 1/4.

No matter what, though, the E36 M3 wasn't meant to be a straight line car

Ok, 00-01 Maximas are the 5th gens with the weak 225hp... 02-03 Maximas are the 5.5 gens with 265hp....

an 02-03 Maxima will destroy any stock legend hands down. Especially when its 6 speed aswell.

you'd take a 3.0 all day and a 00-01 3.5 all day.. Don't know about the 02-03 3.5 though?
