That's a pretty good 60' time with 17" rims and 235 tires.
Here's my run from last time. I don't have the slip on me though.
Temp = at least 110
Time = 10 am to 12 pm
Elevation = 1125 ft
full tank gas, no spare. Full interior.
60' about 2.6
1/4 time = 15.8
MPH = 90
Mods at the time:
Intake, exhaust, chip. 17" rims @18 lbs each with 215/45/17 Pirellis. Auto Type I.
No brake torquing (should have done it, though).

All right, I'm going to post my best run here and put a website over the next couple days with the rest.
My car was completely stock except for a drop-in K&N filter and the removal of my resonator box, spare tire, jack, and right fog light cover. I was also missing my rearview mirror(still am), which makes a huge difference, and I had my subs out. I have an automatic and drove in D3. For this run, I torque braked for maybe 20 seconds before the run, up to 1800 rpm.
Elevation: 6000+ ft
Temperature: 79
Barometer: 23.34

Not quite sure it it's right, but I went to this site called Superford.org . It has altitude and other calculators and accounting for what I think the altitude is here (5280 minimum) it says I should run at 15.78.
Is this site right? Could I run that fast stock?

could???
yes
will???
maybe
best calculator is to actually trip the lights with your car.
i was using calculators all the time when i first got my G1. (I bought it with a slipping clutch) the best calc i got said my leggy would run a 16.1? most said 16.3...16.4
car was a 15.8-15.9 consisent Bone stock & on occasion would dip into the 15.6's
Ric, when you shift, do you go 1,3,5 or do you run out every gear? Cuz I've heard that gears in our G1 manuals don't like it when we shift fast, so it don't engage. Is that true?
