yeah, i put 2 cars on my little brother drivin the familys gs. easy, and that is without nitrous. i will have some more mods soon, and be tearin it up. should be in the 14s without nitrous with some better tires. good luck. those shifts sound about right, what revs do you hold to?
well i only shift on street races, but at the track i let the tranny do it all, i wanna go to moroso or bradenton track and see what my quarter is, my friend has a b16 crx that runs 14.8 in a quarter, consistently, and i only lose to him by a half a car length. Oh and when at the track i power brake to about 1900 2000 rpm which is all it allows to. It spins part of 1st, chirps second, and then hooks.
The times I find a little hard to believe. I have not gotten better than a 2.6 on 60' times. Then again I have all season tires. 205/60-15. My fastest 1/8 mile were in the 10.4s at around 71 mph. Well I do have a sedan.
Hey i didnt say i could dawg anyone, and i have some ty used $20 Firestone 215 60 15 tires with 20% tread left, on my front 2, and my backs are just some walmart 205 60 15. I dont know maybe i just know how to drive, or my car is just one of the special ones? Its unexplainable, and if i could put my time slip on to show you guys i swear i would. but here it is once again. no mods, all stock as i stress again. R/T=.7238 60FT=2.1784 330FT=6.4229 1/8ET=9.8165 1/8MPH=72.91. On mobil 93octane pump gas. Thats all, no aftermarket mods what so ever. And honestly, i think all stock i can hit a 9.79. I mean look how close i am, i spin first gear not to mention and chirp second in an automatic. So someone give me some sort of explanation, im gonna go run tomorrow night at the track and go for that 9.79. Anyone think its possible?
Anyways, Type II's aren't much different then Type 1's until they get going 70 or 80 +. The power gain doesn't get past the weight gain until it gets going faster.
