G1s are faster then G2s downlow? hmmmm i have to see this... get a Manual transmissioned Type I and a 1988 G1 together and see the results with similar tires and same driver...bet the G2 holds it down
more torque lower with 300lbs more but 40-70hp more...its made up for. the G1 only has road feel over the G2 and thats road feel as in suspension tuning.
TurboViper and I were working on this, but things fell through. A future test (perhaps this month even) should confirm the results. Remember: KA7 Legend sedan L five-speed vs. KA5 Legend sedan L five-speed. Hopefully we'll get a chance to try it soon ~ perhaps the Feb. 22nd RaceLegal?

Well, I've tried myself, KA8 6 speed vs. my KA5 5 speed. Off the line, I get a car on him. We'll try switching drivers and see if it's the same result.
Steve, sorry I didn't know you used to have '94. I believe you.

i've managed a 2.404 on an N/A run. & i think i had very minute wheelspin off the line.. i've found that not having wheelspin bogs the motor down and i have mid 2.5's. i'd like to say i know my car..i've made 54 runs in that car alone.
I've gotten a 2.1 second 60ft, and that was on well-used Kumho 716 crap tires. I've got a 2nd-gen though ~ so I dunno if that counts against your arguments.

So then can i ask again, if my times for being bone stock w/ an automatic coupe everything in it and some cheap firestone used tires, are my times good? i mean spinning a lil of first and at the launch i power brake it to 2000 and then chirping 2nd gear, and running a 2.1 60 foot time and a 9.81 1/8 mph time. Is that good for being bone ass stock, not one single modification?

What your telling us is that your legend will run between a 14.8-15.2 stock, i find that hard to belive, there really isnt any way you can prove it to us so i guess well all have to trust you.
2.1 60ft is very hard if not impossible in an auto let alone stock. You have to stall way higher than 2k in order to pull that off then you have to be able to catch traction. I pulled a 2.1 60ft with nos and comp t/a's in my auto. Unless you have a manual transmission, ill have to see it to belive it.
How many miles do you have? what kind of oil do you use?

I went to the track today off a whim and before getting the badd boy tunned, i just went to get a feel for the new manual setup.
Mind you i launched well off the line, but after 4k in 1st. the Drag radials would start to hop, shift into 2nd and it was all out spinning bonanza. until i let off a bit and then got back on it.
This is all with the VIS off, which is not a trick im just having vacuum problems. I probably would have more loss if the VIS was connected due to the low and midrange it helps produce.
I didnt really get to warm up the tires very well, i had my ebrake dissconnected and havent reconnected it for quite some time. Tring to burn out the tires proved hard when the car would launch forward fast while spinning the tires, but not smoking them a bit.
Best time tonight 14.58@97 N/A 2.2 60ft1/8 mile 9.477@76.462
got to get the 60' to a 2.0

the oil i run is 5 w30, mobil 1 synthetic high mileage, and the filter is an stp, uhm tranny fluid i forget the brand, and there is 200,354 miles on the car, other then that thats just how i got the car. My parents owned it previously. If any of you live in SWFL area, we should all meet up at the track and i can prove it. I wouldnt lie, i dont dishonor racing in one bit. and thats all that it is. My friends say that my car is incredibly fast for bone stock and they think that maybe i just came in luck with one of those few engines that is just a lil bit faster, i know my 0-60 time by my friend clocking me is about 6.5 seconds.
oh and you mentioned something about ls1 or something, 3 days ago me and my friend mike were in my car, and my other friend was riding next to us, and he has a 1990 vette, stock, and were at a 50 mph roll, and we both hit it and i pulled about a half a car, to about 100 and we let off. and at zephyrhills last year i raced an 87 vette stock, and i beat him by almost a car length. No BS. He ripped me off the line, but i caught him really good in second. I wouldnt lie i swear to you guys. im not just trying to sound cocky or cool or something. Im not just some punk kid like you guys might think, i wouldnt come in here and disrespect you guys in any way.
