crappy alarm remote reception

im having problems with the reception of the remote for the doors ive changed the batteries and yukky. its bad lol i dont know if anyone else have had this problem. i was talking to a buddy that drives an accord he has the exact remote says he gets terrible reception too. does anyone know were the factory alarm unit is located i would love extend and love the antenna

According to the tech manual, there is a "window antenna" in the back passenger side pillar that goes to the "keyless reciever unit" located behind the back seat. The manual can be downloaded at www.pdftown.com; search on Acura RL.
