Help? wheels and tires

what sup guys! I'm new here.I have a 1996 Acura RL and i want to buy a cheap wheels&tires package LOL I had been using the stock wheels for the last few years!...I found a good package on wheelmax.com..(BTW do you guys know wheelmax.com is safe?) the wheels are Exel DL-46, black, 17x7...(17X07 5X100/5X4.5 BK ST) $432.00total, regular price was $558.00.
the tires are Nexen N5000, size 215/40/17 (but the website recommended 225/50/17)! $272 four tires!

ok, so my first question is will the wheels fit on my 1996 RL, i think it a 5 lugs pattern? if i'm right. Then my second question is will the tire size(225/40/17) fits on the wheels lol since I buy it online(I'm a noob), I think they don't let me return the tire so I have to make sure... wait I have one more question, if I using 225/40/17 will there be any rubbing?

Plz forgive my grammars, it looks so terrible

wheels will fit fine.

17x7 with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern and +4x offset with a 225/xx/17 tire will fit no problems. simple bolt on procedure, but make sure that the bolt patterns are the same before you buy.

however, wheelmax has a filter to show what fits the RL so whatever results they give you should fit w/ no probs.

if it doesnt fit, then wheelmax dropped the ball on that one.

should of gone with coilovers cause when it comes to finding the right stance u cant beat them.then again u have to factor in price and availability of parts(which legends/rl's lack) Had to use 91-97 honda accord ground control coilovers for my 96 RL.Hows da ride on da springs?

Um, had the guys at L and T Japenese Auto install them. The only reason I went there is becuase I msg 91LegendCoupe and he refered me there. The ground control box said 91-97 Accord. They said 91-97 accord shares same platform as 96 RL.Best $500 I ever spent.Sporty, bouncy ride but I can adjust my ride height As far as I know they're the go to guys for RL suspension upgrades.Heres the website. They are in La Puente.Tell'em Gio with the 96 RL refered you.

Hell no. Are you serious! The 91-97 accord shares the same platform as the RL! that' crazy, damn I'll buy it for sho lol... All i know is the TSX coilover fits the RL but it requires some custom work $$$.How lower is your RL because I want to drop 1.5'' in the front and 1'' in the back yo think is possible?

all you have to do for the tsx coilovers is replace the top hats with the stock ones. thats free. no cost. easy upgrade. case closed.

LOL yes but the TSX coilover is about $900+, while the 97 accord coilover only $450 set!
