My RL runs on Hydrogen (assisted)

I just hooked up an HHO Electrolyzer to my RL and it's awesome! I don't have an exact mpg to tell you, but i could tell the difference. It had more power in the lower end and after driving for about an hour and a half on both city and highway it barely altered my fuel meter, the idle was lower too, but that's normal. So i started with about two tiny notches above the half tank mark and when i came back it was at two tiny notches below the half tank mark, it's crazy! Normally it'd been nearing empty by then.

Only problem i had was that the thing stayed on all night, my battery didn't die, but today i'm gonna try to hook it up to a toggle switch or try finding something that i can hook it up to that'll turn it off when the car is off. Any suggestions? I had it hooked up to the wiper motor's fuse.

i'm going to try adding some more electrolyzers after i install a MAP sensor and PCV valve enhancer.

I got all the directions i needed from these guys:
Water Car Run on WATER+Fuel. Hydrogen Save Gas=FREE ENERGY!

sorry, it's my first post, i swear i've posted before. maybe it was another forum.

i would post pics but i left my camera cord in the Armory on the ship and they're somewhere on the other side of the world right now. If you want i could text you the pics, that is if you feel safe about giving out your phone number. But no, not fake at all, and i really do need your guy's help. I'm still trying to figure what i can hook the power supply to so that it turns on only in position two of the ignition and off when the cars off. right now it's hooked up to the wiper fuse and it's always on.

thanks for the advice but i already hooked it up to one of those cheap "racing" style toggle switches that you could buy at Autozone, i mounted it under the steering wheel, looks pretty dorky but it works. I'm going to do another test run to make sure it lasts.

When you get some concrete mileage figures and/or want to share the story of your build please post here (pics would be awesome!):

HHO Kit: Brown's Gas (from water) for fuel combustion efficiency. Any good?

yeah, definately will be posting the mpg's when i purchase a digital meter. my odometer light went out so i can't really calculate for y'all. It's been out for about a year now, never really had the time or money to get it fixed.

As for pix, i'll try to find a new camera usb cord to purchase or have one of my "shipmates" send it to me from the ship.

Sorry for coming out of nowhere and seeming like a spammer, i figured that, now that i have the time, i might actually join y'all in conversation and share with you my latest mod. Not that i've really done any mods, too scared to mess with the car since it was my only mode of transportation. I've basically only used this site to look at your guy's pix of your cars and look around at what mods were being done.

I agree with Samblaze, please post your results in that link he suggested above.

I'm excited to see your results,

please use a GPS to calculate your mileage driven, since it is the most accurate.

Thanks for posting.... I look forward to hearing more from you.

Also, as is, isn't the O2 sensor picking up the exhaust as being "lean" and compensating by adding more fuel, which in turn negates the mpg improvements of the Hydrogen burning in the combustion chamber?

The Oxygen sensor measures OXYGEN. So if the combustion is more efficient inside the motor, there will be less residual oxygen in the exhaust. As far as I can imagine, the ECU would think the car was running on the rich side, and shorten the injector pulse..i.e. run leaner with HHO

Grumpy Steel Man, loved watching your car run on nitrous and whipping that T-bird's ass!

My TomTom has a glitch in it so it's always popping up with advertisements and tips, happened ever since i downloaded the "updates" to it. I'll see if my g/f's TomTom works, it's been sitting in a bin for about a year.

Anyways, as i understand, from other people who've hooked up these HHOs to their FI cars, they say that one HHO, setup right, to produce a low to moderate amount of Hydrogen works with no problem, it's when people try hooking up more than one without any of the enhancers is when they see the problems of the ECU allowing more gas to be used because it thinks the motor is running lean.

Yeah, i definitely left that cord in the Armory, i just took one more look around for it, and my damn cheap ass phone doesn't have USB hook up capability! So i'll see if i can find one when i go shopping today. I'm going to purchase the parts i need to create a PCV valve enhancer. Hopefully they're all at the Home Depot as the E-book says. A PCV valve enhancer basically catches any water vapor and crap that might affect the mileage of the car, a filter in other words.

I just ordered an EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injector Enhancer), it hooks up to the O2 sensors so that, when the sensors indicate low voltage (a lean mixture as a result of the HHO), the enhancer will then compensate for the lost voltage and thus tricking the ECU into thinking that the O2 sensors don't indicate any change whatsoever. Can't wait for it to come in! And that's when i can start hooking up the 4 HHOs that i have planned!

Yeah, somebody should've told him, he's G2BMC.

As far as the EFIE box, I'd be curious to see what the 'guts' are. I still feel pretty strongly that the HHO setup could not possibly have a negative effect on fuel economy. Also with the EFIE box, you'll need two, yes? Each cylinder bank has it's own primary 02 sensor.

no, only one, i bought a dual EFIE, so it runs two O2 sensors from one box.
