Radiator

Looking for a good DIY description on changing the radiator on my 96 RL. Does the A/C condensor need to be removed?

Thanks for any replies.

That's what we're here for.

If you edit the title to read "Radiator Removal / Installation", someone will be able to find it in search easier. Just a thought.

Got the radiator replaced. It took less than 4 hours. The longest part was removing the plastic shield under the engine and trying to get the wire harness unclipped from the old radiator. I ended up cuting off the old connectors and using wire ties on the new radiator.

Does the plastic shield under the engine have a usefull purpose? I put it back on, but it was a PITA. Has anyone just left it off?

Window regulator and radiator done,,,,on to the rear shocks!

Well it happened finally at 115,000 miles on my 1997 RL. Now looking for a radiator. Has anyone bought from radiatorbarn.com? They have lifetime warranty and cost is less than $100, so it seems to be a good deal?
