Rear suspension thud/boom

My RL overall drives very smooth and quiet, however when I hit a bump the rear suspension makes more noise than I think it should. It's like a boom or a thud. Anyone know of specific bushings or joints that go bad back there and cause suspension noise to echo into the cabin worse than you would normally expect... especially from a luxury car. Thanks.

I think it has something to do with the bushings being worn out. I have that problem on my back wheels too. I'm probably going to look into getting them replaced.

On that note, are there any good aftermarket parts that won't wear out as quickly, but won't compromise the ride? I don't want to simply replace the bushings with OEM ones cause they'll just get worn out again. Can I replace just the bushings or do I have to replace other parts?
