kotetu, I think you should take it easy on the members who didn't follow through. I'm sure there are times in all our lives where we had to pull out or something because something more important came up. Heck, I even started a started a group buy (MLS Group Buy Part II [Dare I say Type II?!]) and even I couldn't be apart of the first batch! I felt guilty as f--k, and I'm sure the people who couldn't be apart of this engine damper GB feel just as bad also. No need to beat a man while he's down right, kotetu? Now, if the GB didn't follow through, I wouldn't mind you for calling out members. But this GB went through with/without the members who were apart of the poll.

Just my two cents... please don't be offended by it. This was the smoothest GB I've seen on the Legend forum. No need to point out the rough spots right? z(^_^)-b

I am one who is guilty of opening my mouth in regards to getting down with this GB and not 100% following through. I get paid by-weekly and my last check was small because I could only work a few hours due to school finals. My next check will be here on the 30th so I had asked Blackend if he would accept a nice size deposite before the 25th and then paypal over the remaining balance by the 30th. He said he needed the money all at once which I completly understand, but I just wanted to make it clear that I did try to work something out.

I too may be a candidate for the next round however if my company still intends to send me over seas to Dubai for a year, then it would'nt make sense then would it.

I am very excited for everyone to get there dampners and I cant wait to hear all the positive results! It truly does sound like a must have mod.

i think his intention was not too get ppl to pony up and buy one but rather as potential buyers for a 2nd GB. atleast IMO.

Not yet - I have everything and Tyler and Phil and I are kitting them today. Ran into a little problem though - only half of two bolts in the kit were ready this weekend so I'm only able to send out 25 kits this week. The rest of the bolts will be shipped to me on Wednesday so I'll have them Friday and the kits will be built so I just have to drop a couple bolts in each one and I can send them out the following Monday. I'm going in order of payments so there's no bitching about who should get theirs first.

One other thing of interest - the Titanium looks a good deal darker than the picture shows, almost like a smoked chrome. Tyler, Phil and I all agree that it looks much better than the bright silver, but if any of you are unhappy with the color when you get it, PM me to arrange a swap to the color of your choice.

I was so eager with anticipation that I changed my engine mounts today; it was a good thing to as the rubber on my front mounts were no longer attached to the mount. Filled the new ones with 60A shore polyurethane. Next week goes the filled tranny mount (80A shore), after that the icing on the cake, the engine damper.

Is this the most successful GB in the history of these forums?
