Light weight pully set= 52.3oz vs 116.45oz stock!!!

Here is the break down in oz.

The set will include PS, Crank, and tensioner

Avg peak gains are 9-10whp apx. 9-10wftlbs apx.

FAQ's

Question - Are you confident in the design re: strength and durability? Weight saving is great (especially rotational mass) only if the part can handle the abuse.

Ans. I am confident enough to drive the car-does that tell you anything? Haha, and the guys at the machine shop said that it would be fine so I am guessing it will. I am excited to dyno also! I will post results when found. This is not aircraft aluminum so it is pretty strong.

OK Guys....
Here is everything that we have so far. If we need more info I will update as needed.

I want to shoot for 20 sets if possible. That is the goal and the most reasonable price and qty unless we can do more.
The entire set as of now will be $440.00 for 3 pullies(Crank, PS, and Tensioner). @ 22 buyers

The entire set = ALT as of now for all 4 pullies is $480.00 (Crank, PS, ALT, and Tensioner). @ 22 buyers

If we get 2 more people in for the full set = ALT(Crank, PS, ALT, and Tensioner) I will knock it down to $440.00 for everything.

It is probably different everytime you see it, but we get a better price the more buyers we get in.

For the 2 smaller pullies(Tensioner and PS) I will charge $190.00.

Just the Crank pully will be $285.00.

Just the PS pully will be $120.00

Just the Tensioner will be $80.00

Just the Alt pulley will be $?

As you can see I am lowering the price to those individuals who choose to get the entire set. I will also be completing the alt pully and I will keep track of who has ordered what in order to cut the price for that pully accordingly.

I will keep a running list of people who have said they want a set of pullies. I will post it when I complete the list and then I will start taking funds ASAP to get the group buy set up. For those of you who would like to to get started I can accept funds. However, we will all need to keep in mind that this quote is only good for 30days then it is subject to change, and we can not get these prices unless 20 sets minimum order is/are placed. I do not think that will be a problem. We will see how people feel about these prices and go from there. Prices are not negotiable.

Sounds great...3 more orders and we are ready to send this order in. I will probably delay as long as I can up until our quote is good so we can get more buyers and hit another break point. It could save quite a bit of cost for all of us!

Good idea. My question is: at what point do we receive another price break, and how much of a price break is it? Like most of us, I'm budgeting this project, and it might attract MORE people if they know the price drop when x many more sets are purchased.

And it would be helpful to those on the fence, as they would know when they would ABSOLUTELY have to have the funds. And it would also be good to know the points each price break occur. I don't intend to submit until the last day, b/c if people start paying now, and we get more members involved and a bigger break, that means Kyle would have to refund those paying early, and that's a big hassle for everyone.

Very good point. I also will be one to wait to the last day to send funds, and I'm also budgeting this project and would like to know the deadline, since my $440 budget will not be complete till Nov. 2nd. Additionally, I would like to know what the extra cost of the Alt pully will be to immediately start funding that budget; even though it would be ideal to be able to have a concurrent purchase of all the pullies at one time. Quote deadline is very necessary, and maybe a estimated shipping charge?

Well like I said I was started this GB on behalf of Kyle, therefore I dont have the answers that he would be able to give you. I understand that there was a 30 day limit, but being that this GB was doing so well and we now have the 20 required buyers who is to say that we could not start sending final payment tomorrow. I dont know about you but I want these bad boys ASAP!

If the majority wants to wait until the end of the 30 days in order to atempt to the reduce the price than thats fine with me. Right now we have to wait to hear what kind of deal Kyle can work out with his fabricators.

I think it would be wise to wait. Patience is a virtue, and we've waited this long, a couple of weeks won't kill us, especially when we might be able to save a lot of money and attract more people. We know you started it on behalf of Kyle, and we appreciate it, as we know that you both have the best interests of the community at heart. If Kyle would chip it, it would be good.

it would be best to wait for the full set price including the alt pulley...then get a deadline for the buyers...once we have a confirmed number of buyers...the group buy should be locked...and buyers are to pay by a certain date...

this way there is no need for buyers to send payment for the first 3 pulleys then another payment for the alt pulley...and since group buy gets locked at the deadline...the number of buyers will not change and the price will not change...kyle will not have to refund the buyers because there will be no changes in price due to the number of buyers...

check out the group buys set up by fut for the mls bars...
