New Sway Bars from Just Suspensions!!!

UPDATE AGAIN!!!!!!!:

here is the email i just got today from the shop owner! This deal is for the addco sway bars! so instead of making new sway bars, he is willing to help us out with cheaper prices.

"David: I found my file, and can definitely set up your forum guys for $99 per swaybar. If we have enough orders, then we can even get reduced or free shipping. We can combine the Legend order with bars for other cars too if the guys want to.

Happy Motoring!

Jayme"
so please PM if you are willing to buy! not just interested. Need at least 10 people for this. Thanks!

hey guys!!! just gauging some interest here...

around my house is a shop called just suspensions. They specialize in, well.....suspensions. well i had a talk with the gentleman there and see what they could do for sway bars.

here are the specs for the new bars.

1 1/8” front

7/8” rear

Including polyurethane bushings and hardware, such as bolts and links to the control arms. Im not sure the the other aftermarket sway bar did not come with bolts and stock ones were not long enough, and someone on the forum had made some for others.

This may be around $150ish for Front OR Rear and if i can get enough people they may be able give us a good deal.

Their website is www.justsuspensions.com < they mainly specialize in domestics but also do work with imports if enough people buy.

more options means more companies fighting for business.. which in turn will mean lower prices from all companies

True, however these new bars are more expensive than the Addco's.

But will they be a better product than the Addco's?

That should be the main concern among us.

The stock bolts were too short for the first iterations of the ADDCO bars but not subsequent ones: my rear bar has been affixed using stock bolts for more then a year now without problems. The bars also leverage stock end links without problems. That's not to say longer shoulder bolts aren't a bad idea but they're not 100% necessary.

Frankly, I'd prefer to see adjustable end links, or poly control arm bushings before we try beat a sway bar design from one of the best suspension companies out there. And really, the ADDCO bars are a damn good deal already... I don't imagine, even with competition, that the bars will drop in price as most people would be willing to put down for a name like ADDCO.

There are still suspension shortcomings to address in the Legend... I think investing the effort to reinvent the wheel, especially on a part that is already done so well and at a reasonable price, is not a good business decision.
