Hey guys,

I'm just curious if anyone has a picture of the regular shifter and the short shifter installed. The Reason i'm asking is because on the G2 i just got, the shifter does seem to be a short shifter, but i'm not totally sure. Can someone help me out?

If your cars was purchased stock it probably isn't a SS.

Search for SS + TL knob or something similar and you will see a (shouldn't type this) short shifter and TL 6 sp. knob.

The physical height of the shifter is only about an inch lower, but the throw is reduced a LOT.

Alright, guys got the call that the shifters were done, transferred the money from paypal to my checking account so I can just write a check for the parts. Well my bank put up a big fuss because it's a large amount. They put the money on hold until monday. So the shifters get picked up monday.

Sorry for the holdup doods, unexpected problems....

Shifters were picked up monday from the machine shop and subsequently dropped off at the powdercoating shop. The coating shop said he wants to have them done by friday but that may be a stretch.

Anywho, that's the most recent update, the shifters looked great after I picked them up from the machine shop. I had a laugh with the shop owner when I picked them up because apparantly the man in charge of polishing the ball on the shifter read the print wrong and polished the ENTIRE shifter. The side effect of polishing the entire shifter is that it took him over 18 hours to finish the job. The shop owner reamed him a little bit, but we had a good laugh while I was up there. So you all get your shifters fully polished, not that it matters because they are being powdercoated. hahaha

I've been out of town for a few days with some puppy issues until about 10 minutes ago, I'm going to call the powdercoater tomorrow and bug the shit out of them until they're done.
