You have to forgive my ignorance. 'm new to manual cars and driving itself. I thought it had a shorter throw because of the height also. As you can tell I'm not very educated on this.

Actually, you are mistaken. I shortened the throw as well as shortened the height.

The 5 and 6 speed SHOULD sit at the same height...

Car 1: 95 Black on Black LS 6-speed

Installed and its awesome.
Had to bend the heat shield a bit because after install it rubbed on it.
One thing though, i notice a clicking / rattle when putting it into gear, usually 3rd. Its not my shift knob because I removed it and the sound persisted. Any ideas?
