Hmm. Well, from where will OBX be shipping? I know that you are only 2 days from me via UPS ground, so if we could get OBX to ship to you quickly and you could turn around quickly, I could still feasibly see them here next Friday. WOOHOO!

Two things are not great from these pics:
1. the O2 sensor mounts are a bit too low. Easy to short out in wet weather and easy to damage on a lowered G1. Unlike G2, the engine and exhuast on G1 hangs really low!

2. Really unequal length y-pipe runners. This produces not-so-good sounds, and enhanced engine vibration, and HP loss. I've tried this on my previous 88 and nothing good came out of it. I've also had to deal with this problem on my friend's maxima and it's not fun.

No such problems for G2 headers, it looks like.

That's why I was saying that G1 headers a tricky.

The primary runners and collectors look good though... maybe worth it to buy it just for those and rig your own Y-pipe.
I haven't thought about this for a while... I'll look at the layout this weekend, perhaps, and see if anything can be done.

I can address the first issue. Simply shrink wrap the wiring going out of the o2 and that should give you better weather protection. Then after that go ahead and wrap the wiring with plastic tubing. Honostly, there should be no issues with this. In regards to your second concern...i'll leave alex to answer that one.

I really don't know who's getting the G1 headers and who's getting the G2 headers...otherwise I would've ordered them. I almost did today but then realized that I didn't know what to order.

i thought thats why we specified G1 or G2 with our payment. so far i think its all G2 legend guys, but we can all let u know agen so u can order them.
