Group Buy!!!!! LIGHT WEIGHT PULLY SET for GEN 2 Legend 1991-1995

I copied and pasted from the old GB to make this an easier type up. Hope it is easier to read and understand! I have more interest from other forum members so I am posting this as a reply for the growing demand.

Light weight pully set= 52.3oz vs 116.45oz stock!!!

Here is the break down in oz.
Stock vs Aluminum
Pulley- Old Weight vs New, and Weight Reduction
Alternator- 10.25 3.60 65%
Tensioner- 10.25 3.60 65%
Power Steering- 18.70 5.60 70%
Crank- 87.50 43.05 51%
Total- 116.45 52.25 55%

The set will include: Crank, Power Steering, Alternator, and Tensioner Pulleys

Avg peak gains are 9-10whp apx. 9-10wftlbs apx. on a stock Type I engine.

FAQ's

Question - Are you confident in the design re: strength and durability? Weight saving is great (especially rotational mass) only if the part can handle the abuse. Ask other forum members and see if they are happy. I had 10k miles of trouble free driving before posting the GB.

Here is everything that we have so far. If we need more info I will update as needed.

I want to shoot for 25 sets if possible. That is the goal and the most reasonable price and qty unless we can do more.
The entire set as of now will be $440.00 for 4 pulleys(Crank, PS, ALT, and Tensioner). Shipping is included!

It is probably different everytime you see it, but we get a better price the more buyers we get in. If we do not meet the minimum order size then the price is higher.

For the 2 smaller pullies(Tensioner and PS) I will charge $190.00.

Just the Crank pully will be $285.00.

Just the PS pully will be $120.00

Just the Tensioner will be $80.00

Just the Alt pulley will be $80.00

As you can see I am lowering the price to those individuals who choose to get the entire set. I will also be completing the alt pully and I will keep track of who has ordered what in order to cut the price for that pully accordingly.

I will keep a running list of people who have said they want a set of pullies. I will post it when I complete the list and then I will start taking funds ASAP to get the group buy set up. For those of you who would like to to get started I can accept funds. However, we will all need to keep in mind that this quote is only good for 30days then it is subject to change, and we can not get these prices unless 20 sets minimum order is/are placed. I do not think that will be a problem. We will see how people feel about these prices and go from there. Prices are not negotiable.

I would like to get this done in a month before aluminum goes up in price per oz. These PS pulleys will be done on the wire so there will be no errors this time.

2 weeks will be just fine. I dont have any of the pulleys that you will be getting installed on my car currently. I pulled them off as the prototypes were to go on my other Legend. I do have some just in general of what the pulleys look like. The engine compartment is nuts! That is for sure.

I'm a newb when it comes to the pulleys. I have the shop manual and a decent amount of mechanical knowledge. Would I be able to figure out the install of these? Could it be done in 1 day?

Kyle, I'm interested in this, but I'm 3.5, not a 3.2, soon anyway. Thing is, I'd like the other 3 minus the crank pulley, but you're only giving a discount for those buying all 4. Could you hook up a discount for people buying all but the crank pulley? You might pull in more 3.5 guys/gals.

That is the assumption, yes. Not proven as of yet, however. But logically, it would make sense.
