Thanks for the picture of the prior heavy stamp. I'm assuming the new batch will be like this. Very subtle indeed...

Sorry hinow, 3" will be in this production batch. Why don't you just add 3.5" tip sleeves over them?

OK, the B-pipes will be $115 + shipping. The shipping cost should be less than the exhaust system quoted on the first post.

Again, this is 2 1/2" pipe to compliment the muffler. Combination of both make up the cat-back system. We will need 6 orders to achieve production. Alright, I'll buy one for my "Mellow Coupe" (to unveil soon) to move this along. B-pipe count = 5 now!

Is the B-pipe stainless steel or conventional steel? I couldn't tell from the pic

sorry to add yet another question:

can you combine shipping of the muffler and the B-pipe? $555.00 plus shipping?

Can you confirm the stromung stamp on the tips as well ?

thanks !

OH -- any new updates you should edit the first (original) post as well... I've found that helps

mellofelow, the 12 required people for this GB hasn't finished yet, but you're already saying 3" tips will be used without a full vote? Is our say in slanted tips won't matter as well? Let me just take a step back and say thank you again for setting this up, but what I truly don't get is that these mufflers are hand made/welded why can't they make a couple 3.5"?

P.S. Putting sleeves over something someone paid $500 for is like painting a Rolex watch shit brown. Members here are paying good money for a quality item, not to cover it up.

+1

Putting a sleeve over the tips would be the most ridiculous thing ever done.

I honestly don't really understand why you would want the 3" non-slanted version of this exhaust. They look good, but I think the extra .5 inch really ads to it and the slant tips are just plain sexy.

For some reason I get the idea that a lot of these buyers aren't really thinking this through, stromung is a great company, I would want the best product I could get. And 3.5" slanted is not like a ricey, coffee can look, its still "subtle." If thats what you're worried about.

My .02.

I have had many discussions with Stromung and we agreed that he's doing me and the rest of us a favor by bringing back this discontinued product. They will be utilizing the cans which share with BMWs and plenty of 3" tips (angle or straight) available to make this deal so attractive. Sorry but I have to stand firm with the agreement. Furthermore, the 3.5 tips were never mentioned in my offering discussions.

Slanted tips weren't in your offering discussions also, forum member ATLfoKuS mentioned them in the very second post of this thread. Either way, you're the man mellofelow for setting up this GB and I'm scrapping my cash together. I'm just letting you know how I feel about this whole situation. Not to mention that members that already have the 3" feel like the 3.5" would be more appealing.

My point was Stromung said 3" tips right from the beginning. Straight or slanted I had to confirm 2nd time around. And the slants are little extra but they're 3" regardless.

Alright thanks for clearing that up Earlier you said slanted tips are going to run $10 or $15 extra, has Stromung gave you the final say yet? I'm really digging into my credit grave this time, but I can't let this opportunity pass me by.
