Lightbulb Group Buy: Wilwood Brake Kit

If we can get seven orders (each part front or rear counts as a single
order), then we get 25% off the price. If we can get five orders,
then we get 20% off the price. Plus, we get a free 6-pack of break fluid.

The rotors come with your choice of BLACK or SILVER zinc plating.
I believe the calipers come in RED, BLACK or SILVER.
Shipping and handling is free.

I'm buying a front and rear kit, so that's two orders right there.

This was taken directly from the precisionbrakes.com PDF file
(note that the prices do NOT reflect the discount):
323 millimeters = 12.7165354 inches
330 millimeters = 12.992126 inches
22 millimeters = 0.866141732 inches

30 millimeters = 1.18110236 inches

Excelent! Can we get some details like:
Picture
Plating on disk?
Manufacturer of Pads?
Manufacturer of SS lines?
What is the Size of the OEM Disk? I am assuming this is a larger disk because of the new brackets.

That price is awsome!

Later!

The wilwood calipers are sooo small looking. I'm going for the GT F50 4-pot caliper.

Do you really need that much stopping power?
It’s a luxury style car... Not a sports car

Well then again I haven had my car very long
And haven’t driven it more then a half a dozen of times (BHG)

But once the head gasket job is done,
Ill makes sure to take note on how good
The stopping power of the factory braking system

Maybe some upgrades rotors, and some nice axxis pads? Will do for me

I wish I had $ for a willwood kit, they are VERY nice, but I am going a cheaper route, Type 2 front calipers and rotors, with a set of brembo cross drilled front and rear, some axxis carbon metallics, and some stainless lines, once you guys get this all figured out and get one of these kits installed I would be real interested in seeing how it performs, keep us updated

you could install them yourself in a couple hours, you only need a 14mm socket, a 17mm socket, and a screwdriver to pull the old rotors off. (maybe a 12mm for the brake line removal)

shipping and handling is free.

But they stop and modulate extremely well. I took the coupe out at VIR on those brakes and the only thing that I lacked was tires. For a 3600 lbs car, I was more than happy and I drive Civics with huge brakes!

Now, this thread did not come about due to performance totally. I don't know of anyone on this forum that really uses their car to the max. Dragstrips don't use brakes and ScotcH is the only one that ran a track other than me (it seems) and he did not complain of brake problems. This is a shout out to those who would like to have a premium set of brake calipers that stop well and LOOK beatuiful. Some of you have the jack to put into a set of brakes that are some of the best in the world, but you would never use them. My point, mainly for looks, but still great brakes.

These are not for the monitarily challenged, but with what khoerling has going, you will not find a better deal on new Wilwood stuff.
Honestly I would use every bit of this kit. I don't even own a G2 rignt now and I am very interested in this kit, but I do have most G2 mods . I do track my cars and drive them hard daily. The mixture of the larger rotor diameter, more clamping force, and just the fact that you have brand new hardware will greatly up our braking force.
Later!
