Winter '07 MLS Copy Strut Tower Bar Group Buy

Due to numerous PMs regarding the availability of MLS Copy Strut Tower Bars I've decided to offer yet another Group Buy. So let's cut to the chase. I won't waste time or ban width polling for buyers. Instead I'll post a few history/facts of the MLS Bar:

This MLS Strut Tower Bar was originally imported from Japan.

2001 - My first sighting of a original MLS bar - it was on ol'skool member EK's sedan.

2002 - With LegendGS at the helm I located a fabricator willing to produce copies of the MLS bar.

First G/B copies mirrored the Original MLS' height. Trial and error revealed coupe fitment issues with the Original MLS design. Long story short, the coupe fitment issue was addressed thus subsequent MLS Copy Bars produced fit both coupe and sedan.

Copy MLS Bars - larger primary bar size, black powder coat finish, improved hood clearance, fits coupe & sedan.

Original MLS Bars - smaller primary bar size, painted black finish, fits sedans best, coupes experience hood clearance issues.

The MLS Copy Strut Tower Bar is the #1 selling G2 suspension mod on this forum. Once installed you will notice a handling difference. Many buyers say this is one of the best suspension mods you can put on your car.

Check the pics:

Winter 2007 - MLS Copy Strut Tower Bar Group Buy - Official Payment Information

Group Buy pricing (10 minimum) for the MLS Copy Strut Tower Bar is $275 shipped.

There are three (3) methods of payment:

1. PayPal + PayPal Fees = $285: fut@impactrecordpool.com

2. Cashiers Check = $275

3. United States Postal Service Money Orders Only = $275

Make Payable to:
Dannie James
Addressed to:
Impact Record Pool, Inc.
4055 McClung Drive
Los Angeles, CA 90008-2658
Attn: Fut

Paid Buyers Please Read:

With the subject title line reading "Winter '07 MLS G/B Buyer's Info" please e-mail the following info to fut@impactrecordpool.com:

1. Full Legal Name
2. Forum Name
3. Full Shipping Address (yes the zip code as well)
2. E-mail Address
5. Contact # (cell, work or wud'eva) and Best Time To Call

The above information is very important. Each line item will aide in the smooth operation of this group buy. Buyer beware if you choose to exclude any line item.

I'm requesting payments now. At this time there is no set deadline for payments but please be aware the longer you wait the longer it takes the G/B to reach it's goal of ten (10) full payments. Also please be aware that ten (10) full payments are required to move to the next faze. We need post of payments sent not "I might, maybe or if I could'a-would'a-should'a" post. At this point you're either in or out. "Post Whores" & "Post Crappers" are not welcomed, please vent elsewhere.

I like to keep my G/B threads short, sweet and to the point. Please limit all post to useful information only. "I can't wait, I might, I wish" etc, etc... post are not needed. I'm sure you get my drift. Thanks in advance for your corporation.

That being said, please keep your eye on this post for edits and updates. As always, I'll keep you posted.

MLS Copy Bar

So, I received my bar today Fut. . . the worst part of this experience is anxiously waiting for the bar to be delivered. . . anyone with brains can get this put in in less than a half hour. I think the hardest part is getting the bar over the bolts on the top of the shock towers which was pretty easy to me.

taking a slight turn coming out of the driveway at 20mph made me realize the immediate difference in my cars handling. It IS night and day, and I trust that im not suffering from the placebo effect! Going around turns is definitely more enjoyable because the front of your legend now stays flat instead of the body roll that stock legend owners are used to. I have my MLS copy bar matched with the rear addco sway bar, and there is a HUGE improvement in my cars handling. I think this is definitely one of the best suspension mods someone can get for their car, and I highly reccommended it. Cant wait to take my whip on the hills. Thanx Fut.

just chiming in...

this was my first suspension mod and the difference was so great that I started buying EVERY single suspension mod possible for the Legend which includes:

MLS copy bar
Addco rear sway
Addco front sway
Fut's short tie bar
Fut's long tie bar
tein suspension

im a suspension freak .
Improved handling is my number one concern with respect to modifications and I recommend this as the first upgrade for anyone doing the same.

Ok here's the deal guys. The quicker we reach 10 paid buyers the the quicker you'll receive your Strut Bar. Send your payments now. Waiting for some one else to pull the trigger won't get it done. Don't sit back, act. Check tha history, I've headed many a Group Buy. Your money is safe and fully refendable if this buy fails. I've got better things to do with my time than to jack ya'chedda. In fact I've been known to return buyer payments at the hint of problem.

This may sound stupid but I have been wondering if there may be enough clearance to use this MLS bar along with the KMS? The MLS seems a little off-centered to the direction of the firewall, further behind the mounts for the factory sway bar where the KMS attaches to. I know many people have there diference in opinion regarding the looks and functionality of each bar so I was wondering if it would be possible to use both. What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are it can't be done, but with that said I'm sure somone will set out to prove otherwise.
