Yea i have heard sellers use that excuse before and when i hear i that its best to just walk away. LOL I remember when a seller refused to let me write down the vin number. The car looks prestine in the pics but i guess there is something that we are not seeing.

listen if a seller won't let you run a carfax, take your own personal pictures of the car, etc... then it's probably best not to deal with them....it definitely speaks volumes of them trying to hide something
EDIT: BUYERS BEWARE....this guy claims he wont release VIN because its too personal yet he clearly asks for it in this guys' 4S thread: For Sale : 1994 Acura Legend Coupe Cashmere Silver 38k Miles see post #7  It's people like yourself that MAKE me buy my parts brand new |
