03 CL vs. 95 Coupe

Alright I own a 95 Sedan L not much but as you all know still not exactly slow. On the other hand my best friend has a bad a$$ 03 Red Cl type S 6 speed with navi (rare). I think in my personal opinion that the 95 red coupe I am about to buy obviously completly decked out with the Type II and some bolt ons and maybe a Telion chip and some other things; could possibly beat him in a race. Mine will be an auto and him a manual...what do you yall think about this race?

if your legend was a 6 speed it think it would be about even, BUT because he has a stick and you have an auto he will smoke you.

Comptech doesn't offer anything for the legend that i know of. If you had a 6 speed i think you might stand a chance against him or might beat him, but the J32 in the type S is 260 hp and the TII legend is 230 hp. so its almost up to driver skill.

With intake/exhaust/chip & automatic its not going to happen.

With full exhaust(headers, refabed Y, etc.), CAI, chip, & web cams & manual. You'd walk him.

I have two legends and 1 is a 6spd ls coupe. I take damn good care of my engines and have few basic mods and i know for sure neither of my legends would be able to beat a 6spd cl type S.

does it have to be 95? 94 and 93 has 6 spd too. 94 is pretty much identical to 95 while 93 is slightly different (bumper, trunk, etc).

He will beat you every single time, you'd need a bit more to then a bolt-on TYPE II to keep up... now my Black Coupe might give a CL-S 6 Speed an interesting fight...

Even a 6 Speed Legend won't be even with a 6 Speed CL-S.
