92 legend clutch replacement project, need tranny advice.

hi all, im replacing the clutch in my 92 legend 3.2 5spd coupe. I am damn close to have the tranny out, but im stuck at this whole extender shaft part. First of all that 36 mm bolt, is it left hand thread? and to double check my process i pout the tranny in first gear when removing this nut...?? Then after i get that bolt off do i really need a ""extender shaft puller"? if so is there a way to fabricate one?

i got half my question answered, the only one im concerned with is the 36 mm bolt, is it left hand thread or regular?
