93 coupe L motor and trans mounts

firstly I like to say hello to everyone on here, I have done a lot of work on my car using everyone's post, very well explained and helpful. My project is mounts for my car, can someone please direct me to the number of mounts on this vehicle and the exact ones needed. My search shows 3 front and 2 rear if that's correct. I'm showing several different mounts and don't want to order the wrong ones,pictures would be helpful. I really didn't want to fill the mounts as some have done here.Please if anyone has pix of all the mounts needed would help. Keep posting your helpful repairs guys...good work.

On a 93 there are two front engine mounts, two middle (transmission) hydraulic mounts, and one rear transmission mount. There are two different transmission mounts, one for an A/T and one for a manual. The rear transmission mount is almost always the first to go bad/break.

I did most of them 6 months ago. It has a total of six-(6) mounts. In front of the engine it has 3 mounts. One of them holds a beam, that is the RUBBER, CENTER MOUNTING (HARD). On top of that beam you will have two-(2) others which attach at both ends of the engine front side, those are STOPPER, SIDE. On the aft part of the engine there are two-(2) mounts that hold the engine, they are MOUNTING, MIDDLE. Then the infamous transmission mount STOPPER, TRANSMISSION MOUNTING and it changes from AT to MT.

As far as I know, and anybody please correct me if I am wrong, the mounts differ from 91-92, then 93-94, and for 95 there were some differences. The MOUNTING, MIDDLE barely fails for they only hold the engine on the frame. The transmission mount (AT or MT), certainly failed in the 20th century, probably a few years out of the dealership. The 3 front mounts are certainly due for failure at this stage of the game.

Get the repair manual for the 91 Model and your current year (if different), then check their shapes for your corresponding year. Most of the Acura OEM parts supplier website also have some reasonable images along with the corresponding part number.

The OP said he has a 93, the middle in the front really isn't an engine mount and I've never seen any reason to replace it. Yes the 91-92 have different mounts, they have hydraulic mounts up front and solid rubber in the middle.

Ari, I have a 93 with AT. I had to replace the three-(3) front mounts. My center lower one, RUBBER, CENTER MOUNTING (HARD), had the bottom and lower plate separated from each other. It so happens the front engine pair, was on the metal frames only.

So for a 93 with Automatic Transmission the numbers are;
a) 1 ea, front engine lower, 50840-SP0-N11, RUBBER, CENTER MOUNTING (HARD)
b) 2 ea, front engine sides, 50851-SP0-N30, STOPPER, SIDE
c) 2 ea, back engine sides, 50820-SP0-N11, MOUNTING, MIDDLE
d) 1 ea, transmission, 50805-SP0-306, STOPPER, TRANSMISSION MOUNTING(AT)

My 93 is in the shop as I write. Motor mounts ( 5) will cost me ~$800 installed. Also putting on new shocks / struts at each corner. (~$900.) Seems a lot of coin to put into a 20 year old car. HOWEVER.... I am the original and only owner of this car and I still love it after 20 years. She's a daily driver too.
