Unhappy AOA is full of it...

I got quoted the same discounted prices for struts as all the other dealers I found on the net. $135.00 front struts each and $112.00 Rear each. I read in a post in 05/2006 someone got quoted $121.68 front's and $109.78 rear's. WTF!!! I spoke to Joe and feel that he's holding out. Even when I told him that I've bought from AOA before and am an Acura Legend Forum member.
What gives?

Before you start calling AOA out, realize that car part prices are going through the roof! Ask anyone that works at a garage, they will say that they cant guarantee estimates for more then a week anymore because of price increases.

yea really i called them to order some parts for the 1st time today and Joe really went leg and arm out for me without even taking any money from me yet. if u think its a personal thing with jow try asking for jason. also for comparison call a local dealership and see what prices they would give u

I understand all you guys are saying...guess I have to realize we're in a recession. Its just that Joe is offering the same prices as other internet acura dealers. So I did look around, but I guess you guys have a point...
Nah, I know its not personal...

The prices you're basing your complaint on are almost 2 years old...

How can you seriously expect them to stay stagnet for that long?

Thanks. It doesn't matter that its for a 95' legend does it?

Should I get the bump stops as well?

Appears to be different part numbers in the catalog unless I'm looking at something wrong...

That said, most aftermarket stuff is 91-95 so I don't see why the OEM stuff for the 95 shouldn't work...

Wait for another opinion. I dont' want to be the one to steer you wrong.

that's what I was thinking...But shouldn't it be the same size anyway? I always thought that only GS and non-GS were the only difference in a legend sedan...no?

for several parts yes they were different but u can swap for example the brakes can be swapped even tho a GS was different from other Legend sedans of the same year, suspension components are the same as well
