ATTN: Everyone with TL or CL rims that had to be bored.

I just bought some tl-s rims, and i will be getting them bored soon. But i was juster wondering how everyones car rides now? Is it a huge difference, or what? Rough ride?

i know it wiont ride AS smooth, but how does it ride?

Thanks guys

I don't have the TL-S, but I got the TSX rims which are bored out. I haven't had a problem with them, the ride is still smooth. I even went with lower profile tires 215/45/17.
edit: I have stock suspension.

Allot depends on the tires you get. The tires that were on my TL rims when I bought them were Goodrich KDWs' high performance, harsh ride and loud.
They were on for one day.
Now I have Goodrich g-Force sport, quite, sticky, and a very nice ride.
I have Goodrich Traction T/As on the coupe, very happy with those. They didn't come in 225/40/17, so I went with the g-Force.
Pay attention to tires when you buy and you'll be fine.

TL-S

-on stock suspension
-215/50/17 Michelin HX MXM4 Tires
-slightly rougher but thats to be expected going from a 60 series tire to a 50 series tire, you're going to feel more bumps, but i love them
-gets complements all the time

hotstartup threatens to steal mine everytime he sees my car lol

probably 45, as that's what most people run.

stock suspension

Avon Tech M550 225/45/17

rides about the same or better, but when you hit a serious bump you definitely know you are riding on lower profile tires

I have simular 2004 + Tl tires but they are gun metal, Since i have had them on my handling has improve big time but now i spend my time avoiding pot holes and large cracks, Also on mine i have to be careful of getting to close to the curbs since it will scratch up the rim and not rub against the tire itself
