Hi all,
I'm a newbie to the bay area and have a bone stock '94 LS coupe 6speed. I need to do a couple of things and wanted to know which local shops people have had good luck with. I want to redo the seats which are a little torn with new leather seats. I've heard good things about ordering from leatherseats.com, but I need a local shop to help me do the install. Any recommendations? Also, I have a blown factory speaker (front drivers side). Is there a shop in this area that either has 2 ohm speakers in stock, and knows how to install them without having the entire door go squeak. I'm in the peninsula, Redwood City area, but I'm willing to go anywhere from SF to SJ for a reliable shop. thanks!

Welcome to the forums!
Look in your local yellow pages for the leather seats installation. As far as speaker is concerned, you will have to contact Bose and get a replacement. Before you do that, you will have to get the Bose part number from behind the speaker. Here are instrcutions on how to take off the side panel and get the speaker out. Very easy and simple. You can do it yourself. http://carstereohelp.com/stereoremov...ndFBoseSpk.htm The new speaker from Bose costs about $40 shipping included. The contact number at Bose is: I looked up my old notebook and here is what I found: Contact at Bose: Pat Bolack Phone: (508) 766-9522 Part number: 141564 (this is was bose part number from my 94GS) |
