As I am new to this forum and have read many different ideas wwith my problem, i am still unsure about it. My 1995 Acura Legend SE fan blower only work on high speed. Has the transistor gone bad and if so where can i get one other than the dealer or junkyard? Also, does anyone have any pics of the transistor and its location. I went to the dealer, but they did not want to help me unles I wanted them to fix it. Any help will be apreciated.
I don't believe these are made aftermarket, so you're probably going to have to buy it from a dealer or used.
Your dealer is stupid if they don't want to sell it to you. They still will make a pretty penny. Call up Acura of Augusta, or check Delray Acura online and you can get it there. Still, the cheapest options is used.
i have the same prob but the fans still dont seem to be blowing hard.... i had the whole unit out today and cleaned out all that crap and new filter.... should i just change the transistor or whole blower motor?????

Well, if you're going to one of those pull the part yourself junkyards, might as well grab both.
I have a reman blower motor if you want it. It works, but it never seemed as powerful as the original.
