I am going to paint it NBP.
I'm thinking about stripping the wheels and repainting them.

Nice work russian! Im balls deep into my first bodywork/repaint ordeal... How hard is it to remove the front and rear windshields? I wanna do that to do the job right. Here is a couple pictures of my project...
![]() I made this cut at first but later opted to remove the whole thing ![]() This is my donor panel ![]() This pick was taken about two months ago. Since then new metal has been welded in everywhere rust is I'm waiting to finish for a complete DIY on quarter panel replacement

its not really hard and not easy. If you have the right tools its easy, but I had to use a bicycle brake cable to cut it out, and I had to do it with my bro because one guy has to be outside and one inside to cut it.

Hmmm, I wonder...I dont think so though...Damnit now you got me thinkin. I had to make many little patch panels on my bucket. However my trunk-lining area was pretty clean. Ive never seen rust like you had in that area.

i think i had rust in my trunk area because of a bad window molding and a bad trunk seal. I could kinda see the rust under the windows, but when i took them out, there was a lot of rust.

Ok, I'm just gonna look in the cracks real well and if i dont see anything i'm just gonna hope for the best. Thanks man and keep up the good work...Oh! i almost forgot, Did you get all of the spongy jap adhesive out of you rear quarter wheel wells? I cut all of that shit otta there. That stuff absorbs water and is the reason why our Qp's rot out so bad. I guess its for sound dampening and it kindov joins the wheel wells with the outside metal

I primered everything today. Tomorrow I am going to sand everything and paint inside the trunk area, bumpers, moldings, mirrors, grille, door handles, and everything else I took off the car. I will paint the car either on monday or tuesday. I only work on the car on weekends, thats why it's taking so long.
