It is not as hard as this group buy makes it out to be. For starters, if the products exists and are still being made, then anyone who has contacts in Japan has been able to get these parts back to the US. One of my fellow Hawaii Legend owners go to Japan often for a performance shop where he and his bothers work, and he is able to obtain parts that are indeed still being made. Now, if the parts are discontined and no longer being made, that makes it much harder to get obviously. But, if you are going to do a mass container group buy, I would think that you would have confirmed what JDM parts were still being made, and what parts you actually could located before you posted a list of parts and collected the money for them.
Yeah, it only makes sense to have the product ready to go and be able to ship as soon as you recieve payment.
Damn, i'm really sorry to hear about this happening to you guys (Darren & MFJonny) . I was wondering me being a new member and all, how can we make sure this doesn't happen in the future because i'm really interested in getting some stuff for my ride, but VERY skeptical about giving up $$$$.

I've Always Likened The Legend To A Fine Woman, You Can Love Them As Long As You Respect Them. If You Don't You Will Lose Them, And A Good One Is Hard To Find.
I don't think that you can actually ensure that this never happens, unless you use an escrow to handle all of your transactions. However, right now we have acuralegend.com and legendary94gs who are long-time, trusted members of this forum bringing in JDM toys.
In this case, my personal confidence in them would be my best assurance.

Graeme,
you say the sweetest things. by the way, got two more containers ready to ship out on monday. trying to build a little import inventory. The LEGENDary shipment should be in by mid-may or early june.
keep a look out buddy...I may have some surprises up my sleeve.
Wow if you could get me a OEM honda Wood grain sterring wheel i'de DIE!
Can you get any wood wheel to match the OEM wood of the Legend?
Can you give me a ball park figure of how much $$ the 1 piece coupe lights will go for..
"baw mee" that means "don't have" in thai. I'll check on OEM Wood Steering wheels, but I wouldn't want ya to DIE. In all honesty we've been holding off on pricing items until we know what impact the import tax is going to have.
But they'll be a lot cheaper than Options $1100-1200 buck price
SERIOUSLY..... I REALLY want a OEM Wood wheel.. If it can converted from JDM (right side to left side) and all the wires, airbag and such will work when installed on my US Legend Coupe.. I WANT ONE... GOD know's I DO..
