Well, I'm really disapointed in this member. I went out of my way to help him and now he won't pay me back. He will not return calls and will not answer PM's on the forum. He looked like a safe bet based on the people that vouched for him being a good guy.

Lenny sure looked happy that day. Now that it is five months later all of the gratitude is gone.

Very disapointing. This makes me reluctant to do any favors for forum members in the future.

Well said. At $40 a month it would have been paid off already. I can sympathize that the man may be going through a period of financial difficulty. But that's no reason to accept generosity when you need it and then forget about it when it comes to returning it. If he really is that poor then he needs to sell the Legend, repay DrDave and get a 42mpg Tercel for his daily commute.

Me too. That lone offer/act made me respect A-L.com members as so much more than just Legend owners with an internet connection. It truly did come across as a virtual 'family' of Legend enthusiasts who look out for one another. I hope this gets resolved the right way!
