Deal or not?

Morning people, nice little place you got here. The car below popped up on another message board that I'm a member of, and it seems like quite a good deal. By chance I'm going to be close to the car this weekend (Pittsburgh), and will probably take a look. Don't have any pics unfortunately, but I'm assured its in good condition. Owner is the guys sister, who needs a quick sale to get into a Saab.

Opinions from the board?

Thanks,

Matt.

'95 Acura Legend L.

Green on Tan, 125,xxx miles on the clock. Car is in EXCELLENT condition, has had every service done on it, runs like a champ. Car was given a full respray in the original color 5 years ago due to eggs being thrown on it. Paint work is FLAWLESS. Better than what the factory had.

Car has:
dual front airbags
power door locks
telescoping steering wheel
A/C
cruise control
ABS
sunroof/moonroof
factory alloys
tan leather
factory trunk mounted 6 disc cd changer
factory bose sound
automatic
mobile phone!! (a VERY cool thing, true baller piece from the mid 90s)
power mirrors
etc etc.

This car is solid, an awesome performer and a great value. KBB for dealer price is $10,480

Private party value is $8,570

Asking price? $5,300

Well 125,000 miles is not that bad for a legend.. If the leather is good with no rips and the body it good and it is a clean title? id jump on it ... offer him 4700 cash... or even 4500 dont pay the 5300... make sure the car is not smoking (exhaust)after a idle and the temp goes up... make sure it wont over heat.. make SURE windows work from all doors and the moonroof... I have bought and sold many cars and thats what i go after... anything else u can fix. as long as the engine dont go BOOM

Thanks guys. I know the seller brother (his sister is the one selling, he just put up the ad) and he seems like a straight up guy. Hopefully he's not leading anyone up the garden path with this one.

If I decide to pass, I'll post up the contact info here for anyone else that wants to go for it.

LOL..why not pay the $5300?? That is an EXCELLENT price....the seller would be crazy to take anything less if it is indeed in great shape.

Good deal especially if the car checks out clean and you can verify the 90k service was done.
