if it's threaded, it should be counter-clockwise. normally on any car, a threaded bolt screws off counter-clockwise. only stuff like axle nuts that have to be held tight by opposing thread... clockwise. specifically, the driver's side axle nuts. though, i never got that completely.. it's not going to come unthreaded on the passenger side... and your driver's side wheels aren't going to tighten so much they'll lurch to a stop.
or i might be entirely wrong here, and half-asleep/half-stoned saying something that will totally blowup your car.
