DIY- Amber Bumper Lenses

This is a DIY for making your front bumper lenses amber. Some people like them clear, im fond of the amber look myself.

Making Amber Front Bumper Lenses.

You will need:
Wet/Dry Sandpaper (I used 120, 180, 320, 400, 600 & 1500 grit)
Turtle Wax rubbing compound (both the red & white containers - $2 each)
Tamiya clear orange paint ($2.50 off Ebay)
A FOAM (not hair) paint brush)
Water
Phillips screwdriver

Instructions:
Remove bumper lenses.
Sand down, using circular motions with wet sandpaper (rough to smooth grit)
Buff out with red, then white rubbing compound.
Paint with foam brush.
Let dry.
Re-install.

I should have taken pictures throughout the process but to late!

Looks good, the only thing I'd be worried about is the rocks chipping the paint.

Did it on my integra, and never ever had an issue. Well see if the legend is any different.

not my car.. but yes im an amber lover haha. I'm not doing my g2 till I get 1 piecers, and it wont be anytime soon. so far i think I'm the only g1 with amber corners though. I did the g1's corners with a foam brush and the tamiya clear orange paint. that car's lights in the pic were painted with VHT stained glass spray.
