DIY coolent flush? how to check for leaky radiator
just as the title explains. also my fans hardly ever come on, and when it does kick on it is always both my fans, they both come on when the a/c is on, and both come on after about 20 mintues of idling. i am told one pretty much is always on when idling at operating temp. is there a certin timer that the fans run on or do they kick on when the sensors reach a certin temp? thanks guys
drew BTW when i noticed my rad was leaking, it is a very small leak, and my car did not over heat. my upper rad hose was very stiff feeling kind of like when there is too much pressure inside it. i just replaced the rad cap with a new 16lb one and the rad is new and i just had it flushed and bleed out about 3 weeks ago and have drivin it 5 miles since then(no license) thanks again

I'm not really understanding what the question is. Are you asking about when the fans kick on? If so, they kick on, when the engine reaches a certain temperature. The fans should always kick on when the A/C is turned on.
If you would have used the search button, you would have found these threads: Coolant Flush DIY? Cooling system flush help
