Do the OEM bumper lights have inserts?

I did some searches and cant find whether or not the stock bumper lights have an amber insert in them or if I already have clears but the bulb looks like an insert inside the bumper light (see sig). Also I,m wondering if anyone has removed the front cover for the headlights to clean inside? Do I need to buy a new seal, will future condensation be a problem if I dont get a new seal, are they reusable??? I took off the top row of clips the other day but there was a lot of resistance when I gave them a tug to see how attached they were. There lookin pretty dirty inside. Also, will I have to remove the whole assembly or should I see if one of the kids can fit there hand in the hole in the back and wipe them out for me??...lol
Thanks

they do have an amber insert...

its a boxy looking thing

as for the headlights you'll have to take off the whole bumer to take off the headlights to take the lens off and clean it.

you can polish the headlight lens (the plastic cover on the outside) by just following the DIY thats on this forum.

but if theirs debris or anything then you should try and clean it out i guess

what about the seal? Im on the oregon coast and I get as much rain as seattle...literally..lol All the dirt is on the inside surface of the lenses. When I got the car, the hole covers on the back of the headlight assembly were not in their place, the were just sitting in there.

some people have luck with using the old seal...
a small layer of clear silicone on the outside when everything is back together wont hurt.

if you want to take your headlights apart you're going to have to bake them. preheat oven to 250 and set ur headlights into it, 10-15 mins should soften the glue enough where you can take it apart. they're not seals either, it's just glue.

Ahh glue! That explains a lot...lol So I think I will rig something up to reach in from the back and wipe it out with somthing dry so theres no moisture...bummer Think theres a way to remove bumper amber inserts...probly not. My clears are on the way anyways. Thanks guys, someday I'll give some good advice..heh

if you want to clear out ur front bumper lights just take a screwdriver and some pliers and bust out the orange piece, simple and easy. as for cleaning the inside of the front cover of the headlights, the only way ur going to even get to it is if you take it apart. it's simple to take apart, just try it, seal it back up with silicon and ur good to go

Ill stick with the clears..lol So your saying I have to take off the bumper, remove the whole assembly and put it in the oven, then silicone it shut again....all just to clean it out???? OUCH! How about a piece of bailing wire with half of a kitchen rag attached to the end of it? I'm pretty sure I could bend it around in there...couldn't I?

ummm... if you stick anything in the hole behind the headlights... all you're going to do is clean out the reflector bowl which is behind the diffused lenses... which i dont see a purpose...

if you're trying to clean in FRONT of the diffused lenses then the only way to clean it out is to open it up.

btw you can paint it while you're at it
