Give me a break, guys! I am a female owner.. now a '92. This is my 3rd one.. You have to admit.. it could have happened to anyone at anytime.. even you guys! My ex-boyfriend put more dents in my vehicle by beating it up getting ticked off trying to fix things than I ever had from a parking lot. My problem is that I work in a high-rise parking lot at work, so don't have any parking options in order to keep my doors from getting dinged. If I were to hog 2 spaces, my car would end up getting keyed.
One day I parked next to a huge SUV. He evidently thought I hogged his parking stall, because when I got off work that night, he was gone, and I discovered I had a flat tire. Nothing was wrong with it, just flat. Unfortunately, the guy I bought it from didn't include the correct spare tire for it, so I didn't have one to change the flat one in to. Fortunately, the tire held air after re-inflating it. Immediately took it to a garage, and they said there was nothing wrong with the tire, so I knew the jerk flattened it. Also, another thing to keep in mind is that most women don't drive like demons in their vehicles like most of you guys seem to, which causes a lot of mechanical problems (thus $$$$). I drive like an old woman! |

My second one is a complete rust busket (another '87, which was replaced by the insurance company after the wreck), and was starting to cost me a fortune in repairs. I still have it, but it is sitting unused. My third one, a '92, I just got a year ago. These cars are impossible to find here (Iowa). There aren't many, and if you find one you can afford, you'd better buy it. I didn't want any car payments, so bought this one because I wouldn't have any, and because it was about the only one I could find at the time I was looking. It's a beautiful car, but is starting to have issues. I am now having to replace the power steering pump. Two weeks ago, the rear brake pads, a calliper, and the master cylinder. Before that, the VSS. I'm not really complaining.. I know the car is 15 years old, but these things always seem to happen when I don't have the money. As far as the Suburban not seeing your car, have you ever driven one of those things? They are monstrous. Why they couldn't see it, is because of blind spots. THEQUESTION32, your losing radiator fluid had absolutely nothing to do with your gf driving it. She was the unfortunate one who happened to be in the driver's seat when it was discovered ![]() |

Here's the trick I used.
6 speed + seat stuck in a position that only me or a person my size or taller can get used to = SUCCESS. ![]() And I dont date any tall women, so it's like, "well baby, you cant even drive it, the seat is stuck!" ![]()

lol that's the excuse i use for other people when they want to get in the back seat i say it's a coupe for two people back seat is for groceries or bags. but my girl lives with me and knows the seat can move she has her own memory seat (2). but it's all good. sciachir i have driven suburbans, 2500 ram trucks, i am a delivery driver and drive 16ft box trucks, and 24 ft trucks out of town.so i do know about blind spots funny thing was it was another woman that hit her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
