Door Lights Do Not Turn Off, Rears Won't Turn ON! HELP!

Guys I need your Help, for those who are experts when it comes to lights… I bought festoon L31 Bulbs for the Lights that are on the door of my sedan LS…. They are 12V 10W, Once I put them in, they became very hot and would not turn off even with the car off, they stood on, so I took them out, burnt my finger, and put the OEM one’s in, and now they don’t turn off either….

Also, the rear Door lights do not come on at all, please help and let me know what I did wrong…. The lights are called Blue Zone D-500S, Any one knows? Thanks Guys….

Where is the Integrated Control Unit Located, and how long will it take to replace?

Had something similar. Just replaced the door actuator and it was good. Not exactly sure what happened to yours

What is an actuator and where can I find it?
The problem is they are not turning off, I changed the bulb to the Blue one and they stood on, and now that I placed the old ones back in, they stood on as well...... Now they do not turn off or fade away at all.....

Actuator is the part on the door that locks itself to the body when door is shut. Door switch is built-in inside door actuator. I recently caused a short and I actually had to take bulbs out of the door, and turn off interior lights because it won't turn off. To be safe I ordered power door lock control unit, door actuator, security unit all at once. But as soon as I replaced the actuator everything worked. For you it could be a different problem.

So can I use 12V 10W bulbs or will that make a short happen....???

oo I have no idea. If it fits I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

Those bulbs might be too hot for the small space in the doors... I'm not sure what the OEM wattage is but I think it's less. Of course you could just do it and if it starts melting/burning, you'll know.
